Savage 110 Ultralite Bolt Action Rifle
Model of the mythical 110 series. The Ultralite is characterized by being a reference for those hunters who value a light rifle, either by preference or by the activity to be developed. It weighs 2.66kg, 1kg less than the standard Classic model of the series. Thus, it has a very contained weight thanks to the weight reduction work carried out by the brand.
One of the main modifications has been the barrel. It incorporates a stainless steel barrel wrapped in carbon fiber from Proof Research, famous for its precision and consistency in groupings. Thanks to the carbon fiber, it weighs 64% less than its steel counterparts.
The length depends on the cartridge used, ranging from 22 (559 mm) to 22 (559 mm). 22 (559 mm) to 24 (610 mm). They are threaded at the end with a standardized 5/8 "x 24 thread pitch with thread cover, for those who wish to install a muzzle brake or suppressor (provided that the legislation allows it). The action, which in the standard 110 model is thick and robust, has been stylized by the engineers by removing material using milling techniques. Thus, the rounded shapes of the standard action have been changed.
The material and finish of the gun is stainless steel treated externally with melonite, making it especially resistant to adverse weather conditions and scratches. Savage indicates that the actions of the lite model are hand-fitted at the factory one by one. For scope mounting, the stock is drilled and tapped for mounts using the larger-than-standard 8-40 bolt size.
The bolt has also been worked on to reduce weight by means of a knurling seen on other models. There are eight deep grooves that are blackened to contrast with the polished body of the bolt. This technique collaterally reduces the friction of the bolt during operation, making it smoother to handle.
It includes a gray polymer stock with a reduced weight. It provides a very comfortable and soft grip and integrates the AccuFit system, which allows users to modify the length of the stock (4 different spacers) and the height of the cheekpiece (up to 5 different cheekpieces). The stock is topped by a very soft butt pad that optimally absorbs recoil.
This is topped off with a soft butt pad with good recoil absorption. The stock has grooves and textures on the pistol grip and handguard that are placed just where the shooter's hands are usually placed, in order to ensure a good grip. In this rifle, the removable magazine holds two to four cartridges, depending on the caliber used. It is made of polymer and metal and is flush with the ventral part of the stock. It has a built-in release latch that is really easy to operate.
The trigger is the famous AccuTrigger, used in almost all the 110 series. It incorporates a safety tab on the trigger tail called AccuRelease, which is part of a system that allows lowering the trigger weight even to the limit without sacrificing safety. It is an excellent trigger, which is user adjustable from 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg) to 6 lbs (2.72 kg). It provides a crisp shot, which is valid even for precision shooting. It is complemented by a three-position manual safety.
The trigger safety also has a manual safety that is located behind the action, ensuring its use by left-handed shooters. It has up to three positions: locking, where the bolt can operate with the latch locked, and the fire position. The firing position is visually indicated by a red dot.
In short, a compact and lightweight rifle ideal for the most demanding hunts and for people looking for comfort and ergonomics. Precise thanks to its carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Consistent in groupings.

The procedures are very simple
- You can make the payment in any of the following ways
- Credit card.
- Bank transfer.
- VIP card (this option will also serve to finance your order).
- You will have to send us a photocopy of your ID card and the corresponding firearms permit depending on the type of weapon.
- The shipment will be made to the corresponding Civil Guard Station with Weapons Intervention (please indicate yours in the "Observations" section, which you will find at the end of your order).
It is no secret to anyone who handles a firearm that dirt can be its worst enemy. Corrosion or the storage of foreign matter can hinder the operation of the weapon and, in the case of affecting the cartridges, cause accidents that can have serious consequences.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
